Day and night

During the day, the harbor is a bright mass of blue and white. The air is sweet, but salty. There is a loud, sometimes happy, mixture of voices and noise.

When night comes, things change.

The air gets still and thick.

The darkness settles like a warm comforter. The lights shine brighter, but not affecting anything around them. Their glow deepens, like a candle in a pitch black room.

It's magic. Almost.

Really lovely! Could I get a print to put on my new yellow wall next to the full moon? That's a nice memory of New York to keep.
