As the holidays approach, I am continually reminded of changes in my life.

Friends, location, family. People come and go, but many are here to stay.

All you can do is grasp those that are nearest to you with your love and never let go. Have a safe and happy Holiday week :)

One of my favorite things about the University of Arkansas's campus are the lights. They are EVERYWHERE. Spilling out of buildings, on tall lamp posts, lining the buildings during Christmas time.

I am a big fan of light. I'd choose it over the dark....

My friend Elizabeth turned 21 yesterday (She's the one on the left).

We all met up for sushi and drinks. Laughs and smiles were shared. This week we are all headed away to our family's for thanksgiving. I love how these girls have become my other family :)

Al brought me home some of this season's last kiwi berries :) Mmmmm....a perfect summary of how the summer and fall has been. Sweet, tart and delicious.

Project Runway has been my guilty pleasure since discovering it in it's 4th season. I love seeing the clothes, but more than anything, I enjoy seeing the melting pot of nationalities and identities that find their way onto the show. The people each have their own unique story, but all are there to win. As I watch each season, I realize what a cut-throat business it is to design anything.

I find myself looking forward to the show, for the chance to see people who are almost characters in a drama too ridiculous to be believable. My friends will shout louder than a party watching the Superbowl when our designer doesn't win a challenge. We are hooked :)
