What I will miss in Chambana (Champaign-Urbana)
1. Eve, Holly, Sue and Kim
2. The red brick on campus
3. The fun coffeeshop near campus
4.How cheap my gym was!
5. Downtown Champaign - it's posh for this neck of the woods
6. The Urbana Public Library - they're getting a cafe JUST as I am leaving ::sigh::
7.Running around campus
8. The Unitarian Church where I met my friend Holly-they have great music and readings during services...and coffee hour afterwards ;)
9. The bookclub I helped start
10. Love and friendship in unexpected places
11. The Parkland theater - good people
12. The organice foodstore here, Strawberry fields - 2/3 of it is vitamins, but it's still sweet and I love seening all the green and blue haired people ;)

You're treating Urbana LOTS better than it treated you! If the chamber would read your blog, maybe they would offer you a job. Grandma Helen had a saying framed at her place in Kasson. It read something like: "You never really leave a place you love. Part of it goes with you. And part of you stays behind." We'll keep that part here in Iowa. Brownville has a part, too.
