April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)
I think they used to have Chinese auctions in San Francisco in the 1800's. You bid on the Chinese workers that just came off the ships (satire ... or just being a smart-ass ... you decide)

Not something you'd see in Iowa!
St. George's had all meat, so Kathy and Dad at at Urb's Cafe--had a curry. I did Kristeena's. some Asian food would have been good at the festival.
