Yes, they set the curfews.
They tell you homework comes before friends.
They say no to cell phones when you're 16, limit tv time, encourage you to be outside and exercise.
They keep the back porch light on until you're home from a date.
They tell you that you HAVE to go to College.
They keep tabs on your grades and make you call at least once a week.
And suddenly
when you're a year out of college and just starting to get started in life....
You think....
THANK GOD they did all of that. They made you the wonderful person you are today:)
