April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

Thank you, Ansel.
I'm excited with how far I have come.
Photobug/shutterbug wise.
When I look at the pictures I took when I first got my digital camera...heck when I look at the pictures I took with my standard compact I truly see the difference. That makes me proud and happy. I am hooked - and keep my camera in my purse with me at all times. I will actually be in a conversation with someone and if a good photo taking opportunity is brought to my attention, a split second of my mind will be entirely devoted to that, before returning flawlessly back to what was being said.
There was a time when I was discouraged with my little 4 megapixel kodak. I tried to make it do things it couldn't and shouldn't. But then I read a quote by Ansel Adams: "The single most important component of a camera is the 12 inches behind it." He meant me! It's up to me to make my pictures as wonderful as I know they can be - I can't be blaming my camera.
I've learned to love my kodak again but also look started to look around for camera that include even more functions. And someday maybe I will figure out how my 1970's minolta works! :)
