Did you think that the food network was the only place that the iron chef made an appearance?

Nuh uh!
Apparently, the tradition has been going on for four years at the summer Fayetteville Farmer's Market. Three competitors meet once a year to "dish it out" (so to speak) to each other by making dishes, whose ingredients comes from local growers.
This year's competitors were The Green House Grill, Urban Table, and Soul. All unique and different, but all wanting to be named Iron Chef of Fayettevile by the judges.
The chef's from each restaurant had. 60 minutes to prepare their dish.
Unfortunately, this lousy food critic left before the winner was decided. The heat and the crowds were overwhelming. She did find out, however, through ingenious sleuthing that the Greenhouse Grille won.
More on recipes etc will be repeated...once I find out what the dishes they cooked were for my chef...
