April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

How to Ride a Bus
I have decided.
I love buses.
I have this vague memory of riding on a city bus somewhere with my mom and dad. All I remember is my dad's scratchy beard. That and the excitement of riding a huge public vehicle.
In the various cities that I have lived in since college, I tend to seek out public transportation. It's a way to be "green" and to experience the culture of where I am.
In the past couple of weeks, I have started riding the razorback transit to work. There is a stop right behind my office, near Chick-Fillet and Barnes and Noble - you can't beat that! I catch the 7am bus, so as not to be late. Needless to say, the occupants at that time are sparse, bleary eyed and not up for chatter. A few have skate boards clutched to their chests. Post morning run, I'm also feeling "the drag". I tend to turn up my IPOD and watch as the fields roll by....
