I love those "ambiguous treasures" so often found in offices.
To the indifferent observer, they maybe be a small drawing or trinket that a person has on their desk. When I was working at the Brownville Village Theater during the summer of 2006, I kept the sketches that Alex drew me on his visit there close to my desk, and nearly had a heart attack when they were almost accidentally thrown away.
I'm just glad that there are those little things - though they may seem cheap or pointless - that help us get through the day and remember those we love and cherish.
