I'm not one to follow fads - I usually stick to my own thing when it comes to photos.


But I got an offer that I just can't pass up.

one of the shutter sisters (http://www.shuttersisters.com/) is embarking on a week long creative project, where she really looks at her life through pictures and writing. I always have my camera with me anyway, so I figured - why not? Could be fun. I seldom find a lack of inspiration and although my pictures themselves might not reach out to others - they make me happy.

The pictures above are from Sunday 9-27. Al had some guy friends over to play games, so I went for a walk on the U of A campus. I sat and read for a while, until dusk started to descend. The brick, the greenery, the interesting activities of students - all make me love college campuses. I enjoy the fact that they are their own world essentially. I have had many of those places (a smaller world within this one) when I was a kid and even now.

I will keep taking pictures all week long of seemingly random things that make up the most important components of my life. Below is a link to the first 21 from Tuesday 9-30.
