There's a special area in Clarksville AR that I discovered when I was living there, nearly a year ago during a run.

Head down Roger's St towards Main St and take a left on Popular and continue until the road bends. Tucked away from the urbanized main drag of Clarksville, is a sweet avenue that is bursting with colors, light and shadows.

When Al and I first moved there, he told me that he and his buddies would frequent that area a lot after school in Junior High and High School. There are trails, a creek, hills and dense foliage. Above that wilderness are houses, many with gazebos and lawn decorations. Sweet, simple, and homey.

While Clarksville can seem small and laced with too many fast food chains, it has obvious beauty and luckily the beauty isn't deeply hidden.
