April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

When I was a little girl, I'd loved to look for sparkly things. I think part of me wanted to find buried treasure.
I'd search for bright colors glinting up at me from the sidewalk or garden. Bits of glass, a stray bead or two, grains of shiny sand. Anything I could find. If I was really lucky, I would find a shell.
Now, almost 25, I still seek out treasures. Not ones that I would necessarily take one, but ones that still catch the light and give me a glimmer.
