Okay...more photos from the week in the life of...me.
I have discovered that I like to absorb as much color and light as I can, before heading into work. I walk down a small hill to get to the bus stop - and the sun peaks over it around 7:45am in just such a way that the long grasses and thistles growing look like gold.
I can't absorb too much light or color during my morning run - everything is dark and gray. The streets smell and feel color, and the constant BEAT BEAT BEAT of my shoes on the pavement is the only thing that is keeping me warm.
Then I arrive at work. Paper, stapler, swiveling office chairs. People, people, people. Phones ringing. This is where I get my interaction with others - where I can satisfy my desire to be around and with people. Noise, sound. Loud or soft.
So by the end of the day - whether it was hectic, good or bad - I am satisfied.
