It was one of those slow but intense Sundays.
The Blustery winds of Saturday had given way to a cool, almost warm breeze that followed you as you walked around outside.
When days like this happen, I like to go to the library. The sweet, small garden surrounding it and the massive glass windows are too tantalizing to resist. The houses and building in this area of Fayetteville are very old - making them interesting and unique. There is one that I often admire on School Street, it's front window bordered in a bright turquoise that startles the observer in a pleasant way.
On sunny days, the light has the Midas touch with the tall grasses near Mountain Street. It sways, glittering like long strands of gold.
The day is slow and even - but makes you expectant and ready for what is to come the next day.
