April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

In February, it would've been two years since I was in a show.
Luckily I was saved.
And not only did I get into a play - it's a wonderful murder mystery- a whodunnit.
EVERYONE actress (comic, dramatic or otherwise) loves those.
Last night was the first rehearsal - the read through. I could see the cast eying each other - you could tell people were tentative to make immediate judgments but excited to get to know everyone. But after the read through and talking to cast members, I am beyond excited. I think everyone will be friends and great cast mates. It's guaranteed to be a great show.
As I walked away from the theater, and the street lights made little pools on the sidewalk, shock waves washed over me;
God, I've missed this. :)
