April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

I love opening night. While the run of a play can go on for weeks - nothing equals the magic of the first performance.
When I got to the theater last night, there were already people in the dressing rooms - the bright makeup lights casting shadows all over the room. The smell of Aqua net filled the air...bringing back memories of high school musicals.
Our director didn't make a big speech before we took our places. He just smiled and gave us the thumbs up. It was in our hands now...and we didn't disappoint.
