I love those people who seem to be one way but really are another.

My friend Dimitra is from Greece. I call her the Greek Goddess - because she is one. She's gorgeous, dark and brooding. She also has a thick, sexy accent that makes her so unique and wonderful. I could listen to her talk for hours.

She is also probably the most cynical person that you will ever meet. She can afford to be though - she so incredibly smart and wise.

Dimitra is also not what you'd call girlie. She sticks to the sporty, casual look and of course looks beautiful. Using makeup doesn't even cross her mind....

Until this Saturday, when she hosted a Mary Kay Party for her friend.

When she invited me, I think my eyes widened because she grumbled "I'm doing it for a friend, ok? You know I don't DO makeup".

But at the party, Dimitra was having just as much as fun as anyone. Since she was the host the mary kay consultant gave her a personalized makeover. When Dimitra was handed a mirror after she was done, I caught her smiling...

I think everyone has a little facet of themselves that is undiscovered. I like that. ;) xoxox
