"So....what's with the roses?"The question was posed to me by one of Al and my mutual friends, Christian. The bouquet of roses, hanging upside down, clipped to our living room curtain is hard to miss.
"I'm drying them" was my reply.
That's what girls do with flowers their fiancees give them on their three year anniversary of being together-right?
Am I doing it right though? As a kid, I know that I bundled the flowers up and hung them upside down...and they always became dry. Does anybody know, am I doing this the right way?
Also, on another slightly nostalgic note, I've started using the espresso machine Al got me 2 years ago for our first Christmas again...minus a couple of parts :)

That's how I always dried my bouquets. Then I could put them back into a vase once they were fully dried, or pull the buds off and potpourri them or whatever you'd like.. Beautiful!
That's what I thought! But after the boys comments, I wasn't sure. I should realize that boys don't know what they're talking about when it comes to flowers ;)
