This photo was taken as I was crouched in my closet, grabbing an old college text book (a makeshift tripod, of course) and my thumb hit the button.

Normally, when flipping through pictures on my camera and I'd trash this. But lately, I'd been saving picture mistakes. I'm starting to like them - they have character.

I think its human nature to like things that are odd or different. And while I can't keep all of my picture mistakes (because there wouldn't be enough room on 1,000 memory cards for those!) I can look at some as a reminder that it's ok to mess up or be imperfect. It makes you who you are.
