Last night Al and I did our fancy tasting at Syrah - a small and quaint building on 5th street in Santa Rosa.

It was mouth watering. Al told me that only one dish needed more salt - and that is high praise indeed from him.

Unfortunately my camera battery died and this was the last shot I got before I had to put it down. Next time I'll bring my charger - that's what real photographers do! But just imagine readers - beautiful plates, delicious food arranged in eye popping ways and kind service. The chef came over to our table at the end of the evening to congratulate us on our marriage. He was playing with his own gold band - "11 years and staying strong" he said.

That was our evening. Not bad for two honeymooners =D
