This weekend was full of great food.

Friday night, while we entertained guests, Al made superb Italian food (even though it's his least favorite cuisine).

Saturday afternoon, D. and I made apple pie from apples that grown on a tree outside her office at the university.

There's something about good friends and good food that go hand in hand =D
