April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

HAPPY ST NICHOLAS EVE!!!!
I'm 50% Czech (look at me - I'm freakishly ethnic looking) and one of the traditions in our house when I was young was to celebrate St. Nicholas Day. We hung out stockings up on the night of December 5th and woke up to find goodies in them the next day.
St. Nicholas day almost meant more to me than Christmas. It was special - a holiday that none of my other friends celebrated. Plus, it meant that there was only 20 more days until Christmas.
Yikes! 20 more days! :)
xoxoxo
