I had tea and toast with my friend Erin yesterday. We commiserated together about our "art-less" life.

"It's been a year" she said. A year since she'd been involved with theater.

I remember that first year after college. It's hard. You're not in your dream job yet and you have no idea why because GOSH DARN IT YOU'RE BRILLIANT.

While I didn't have any answer for her, we were able to emote to each other. That's something at least :)
