Whenever I take Goonie to the vet, I always stop by this coffee shop called "The Perk".
It has free internet, art hanging by the locals and good coffee.
It's quiet and situated in an area with plenty of sun and is always decorated for holidays....you know, pumpkins for October...stockings with all the employees names on them for Christmas.
I like finding these little havens. They allow me to take a breath and step back - if only for a moment while I pay too much for a cup of coffee. :)
