There is a horse statue near the starbucks on Joyce and College.

For some reason I always think of the expression - "horse of a different color" when I see it even though that doesn't really make sense in this instance.

Community groups tend to use it to advertise for events and outings. Free marketing and PR I guess - catching the community minded coffee addicts as they exit the starbucks parking lot.

I guess why I bring this up at all is that I'm glad people are out doing things. I'm glad that there are summer events that are happening that can be advertised. That people are sitting out on decks, eating, drinking, going to concerts and benefits.

Things are back to normal  :)
