The day I was able to refer to myself as a marathoner was pretty exciting. I ran my first full marathon in 2009. It was the Hogeye Marathon in Fayetteville AR.
It. was. brutal.
But AMAZING. I ran it again the following year and suffered some major hydration problems, as it was close to 90 degrees when we all finished. I still got second in my age group and won this mug.
This year, I ran the Little Rock marathon and my friends and I plan to run another marathon this fall.
It's an addiction :)
