It's hard to believe it's almost August.

When I was a kid, the summer was a blur of water balloon fights, lightening bugs, swimming, eating watermelon and laying out under the stars.

Summers now consist of 8 hours or so in an air conditioned office and then a quiet evening at home. A good change, different even. Every once in a while I miss staring up at the sky from a cornfield in Nebraska or out at the harbor in Sag Harbor.

But still it's nice to feel like you are where you belong.

Ready for the fall :)
