Day 15 - Silhouette
Silhouette memories...
It was Kindergarten. We stood infront of a big beam of light while Mrs. P traced our silhouette on a piece of paper that was hanging on the wall. Squirming. Restless.
Mine was a big head on a little body with fly away brown hair that never seemed to stay untangled.
Later, during a band/choir trip to San Antonio, my friends and I stopped by a stand where a woman was making silhouettes without the beam of light. She sat opposite of you, staring intently at your profile - all the while cutting feverishly at a piece of black paper.
Long, permed hair. Frizzy from the drizzle.
