Tales from the bookclub

The streets are dark, there's a mist falling...a car drives up to a cream colored apartment building.

Shadows flit across the parking lot into the building.

The apartment is simply furnished, but full of charm. A beautiful spread is on the small coffee table in the sitting area, perfect for visiting and chatting about the simplicities of life.

The hostess makes her guests at home. Pictures are taken. Jokes are said. Friendship and warmth are felt by all.

Sweet rice cake, apples and peanut butter, cucumbers, grapefruit, crackers are consumed and enjoyed.

People went their separate ways at the end of the night. But the connection is made and will be felt always.

"Stranger than Fiction" is not a book. It's a movie. But it's a movie about a book, and it's really good. Check it out. ~Brian

I heard that it was good - Emma Thompson is the "author" of the book, right? Glad you enjoyed it.
