Yes, I'm in the Hamptons - the ritzy place where the rich frolic during the summer, sipping Mai Tais on the beach as they work on their tans.
For the past week or so, I've been getting up around 6am to work out, and then accompany my fiancee to the restaurant Mumbo Gumbo's on Main St. in Sag Harbor. He and his fellow chef, Gabriel are cleaning and fixing it up for their summer opening on memorial day.

When I was little, I used to think that I would ultimately enjoy life if I did NOTHING. I believed that if I had millions of servants to do all of my work for me, and I could just relax around my giant mansion, I could be completely happy and would want nothing more out of life.
I've found, however, that I'm really not happy unless I AM doing something. Some kind of work, big or little, has to fill my day. I need to feel like I'm needed or helping someone - otherwise, what kind of contribution am I making?
It's just funny how much my views have changed.
Sure, I'm in a place where a couple can go and eat out every night, no matter what the expense is. But to get to where they are, they had to work. And I guarantee it, that they aren't satisfied unless they continue working hard....between Mai Tais on the beach. ;)

Love the picture of you sweeties!
Look out for the Iowa people when they come through to eat. You may have to take them by the hand and guide them through the spicy stuff. See! You will be invaluable as a hostess and spread the word of Mumbo Jumbo far and wide into the Midwest.
