Simple Pleasures

On a lazy Saturday afternoon, with a hazy sun in the sky

I like to be with friends.

The boy's at work all day

and I could read, clean or nap.

But I choose to be with friends.

My true personality has made peace with the introvert in me,

or rather, kicked her butt.

I talk, I laugh, I yell, I dance

at will.

Nobody can stop me, only encourage me.
