I will miss the people, when I leave World Granite....which I think will be very soon.
Lynne, the accounts payable lady, is the mother of the office.

Jorge, Fernando, and Jose, the granite workers, have, in vain, tried to teach me Spanish. I would usually shrug and say "I took French in High School!" Luckily, a few "choice" Spanish phrases have stuck with me.
Good people. Hard workers. I enjoy their company, stories and thoughts. They will be missed.
Jorge told me yesterday that he is going to visit him home in Mexico in December. He hasn't been back for 10 years. I asked him if he was excited. Jorge's eyes sparkled, as he rubbed his rough palms together and grinned. "Si!"
