I love how on the 4th of July, the making of loud noises is almost magical.
There's the initial BLAST to the poor ear drums, but then when the first sparkles and bright colors come...man...all of that is forgotten as people bask in the glow and wonder of what they are viewing. The smoke and the little bits of...whatever...that are falling from the sky don't even matter.
What comes next is first and foremost on everyone's mind.
April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)
