Hello and goodbye

My friend Amanda is moving at the end of this week.
Not to another town or state. Just across town - closer to her work and to an "eco-friendly" apartment complex.Last weekend we hung out for a little while at her old place. she and her husband live in the top part of a house on Sang Ave in Fayetteville. I love it. A blue hue perpetually hangs in the air and she and Ryan own a nautical bed - one that you might find on a ship.

Amanda clearing our her favorite bookshelf made me think of all of the moving I have done and all the goodbyes I have had to make.
They have been hard - but as always, there is a silver lining. New friendships, associations and discoveries are waiting to be made, no matter where you go.
