I <3 photobooths

Unfortunately, I can't claim to have taken these pictures.

Mr. Photobooth at the NW Arkansas mall was the photographer. For $3, he gave us his best.

About a year ago, I did a blog entry on photobooths. In Champaign Illinois, my friend Kim and I loved to frequent them at the mall and to me, they still haven't lost their magic. My dad and I used to use the one at KMart in Marion Iowa when I was a kid. I remember one of them was taken shortly after I fell asleep with gum in my mouth, which ended up in my hair, which ended up giving me a little colic when my mother had to cut it out. I think I was also wearing a leotard. Maybe even my tutu, but the picture didn't revel that much.

Say that you're strolling through the mall and you see a little photo booth. Would you say no? I just hope the photobooths never fade away. The generation that made these popular is growing up, but hopefully they will teach their kids to appreciate all the seemingly ordinary items that made so many children of the 80's lives magical.
We love you Teddy Rux and Mr. Glowworm ;)
