Maybe it's a college town thing - but ever since moving to Fayetteville, I've noticed a lot more motorbikes and scooters on the road.

during our stint in the I guess it's practical, what with gas prices so high, and can be fun. I remember seeing the VespasHamptons last summer, and secretly wanting one. Come on, they come in pink! If they're good enough for Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck in Roman Holiday, they're good enough for me!

The problem is, I'm not really the adventurous type - I can't see myself (however much my inner bad girl would want to) swinging onto a bike, gunning the engine and riding off into the sunset - wearing a safety helmet, of course.

Alex, the more adventurous one, wants a motorcycle. I can see him riding off into the sunset on a bike - but I am content to stay at home, ready, in case he needs a band aid at the end of his ride :)
