April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

Last night I took a walk to my friend's house.
Lately, I have been taking the bus to work and walking to the store. Trying to save money, I guess Or maybe trying to be green. Both probably.
I was glad I walked. Another world comes alive at night - one that is busy and yet silent. The beams of the street lights mixed with that of the moon, and the leaves on the trees rustled with every passing breeze. I can understand why people would want to run/walk at night. You are in a different state of mind than in the morning - the challenges and the stresses of the day have happened, you've come to grips with them and you left them flow out as you breath the night air in.
Anyway - it was a good walk to good friends.
