The gloomy season is now upon North West Arkansas.

Sure it's cold, but I've been in colder. I mean...hello? IOWA! ;)

But now the grays and browns of the landscape are most prominent. Gloomy, sad, England-like Moore weather. I half expect to see Heathcliff wandering around after Cathy.

So how do I cope?

Well a sweet chef in the kitchen making me warm meals is a start. Quiet evenings at home with a good movie, book or conversation is another. It's surprising to me how one can unexpectedly find warmth. :) xoxo
