We were going for the Dean Martin/leading lady look.

Once this was established, we set off for the party with cookies in hand and the holiday spirit enveloping us.

Probably about 30% of the party were people from Al's work. New faces kept appearing - some kept to themselves, others opened themselves up to the party spirit.

Punch and cookies kept us well feed and conversational. Not everyone was dressed to the nines, as we were - but everyone was excited and happy to be there. A good gathering.
