My co worker mentioned today how she's noticed that's it's getting darker later in the day. It used to be that when 5PM rolled around it would be pitch black outside.

I liken it to the closing and reopening of a new year. Why shouldn't the beginnings of 2009 be bright? That way the weary old year can gently fade away.

Keep the brightness going past this first week.
