April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

The night was originally going to be a wine and sushi night - a quiet evening, a gal and her guy.
Then Christian, Al's coworker called. He was going to his sister's house and wondered if we wanted to come. So we hoped into the car to begin our new years eve celebration.
The people there were all completely charming. Christian's niece, Blue, was up for a bit. She snacked on some cereal before heading to bed. Then we all played charades, ate rice crispies, brought in the new year around midnight and finished the night off playing a late game of Scrabble. I can honestly say it was one of the best new years eves I've had in a while - good, intelligent, fun, interesting people. I spied a jar on the mantle labeled sand from the Sahara Desert. Imagine what kind of stories you could get out of these people!
Hope you all brought the new year in right! happy 2009!!!
