"Go to your happy place".
I hope we all have one. When things are stressful, stale or dull...I hope that everyone has a magical land, full of ponies, pixies or whatever...just to visit, sit in and contemplate.
I have MANY happy places. The lighthouse in Montauk New York. My parents house. The small Jo March like room at 710 Taylor street in Michigan. The Geisler coffeeshop on my undergrad college campus. My friend Tracy's apartment senior year of college. The little apartment on that 30th floor in Chicago that housed 5 girls for a semester.....the list goes on and on...
I s'pose that means that I've had a happy life- OH DEFINITELY. I'm so lucky - with those I love, where I've been and what I've seen. But it would take a life time to go back and visit it all - to remember.
Luckily...I have just that... ;)

I would definitely have to put that little apartment on the 30th floor in Chicago on my list of happy places as well.
Miss you darling.
