I attended my office Christmas party last night with a friend, as Al had to work. I love how, after a really good gathering, the post party glow lasts for a few days. You get to get dressed up, see friends, eat yummy food and just have a good time. You can forget the stresses of work and life and just celebrate BEING.

Jane Austen used to go up to her room after parties and write. I don't do anything except stay in my party clothes, as if staving off reality for just a little bit longer :)
