April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

It's a relief to have our Christmas trees up - even though half the nation probably had us beat by a couple of weeks.
When Al and I were first together and living in Illiniois, I got our tree from Walgreens. I paid $10 for the display tree because they didn't have a box for it. My car was in the shop at the time, so I got to lug this tree two snowy blocks home.
It was worth it of course - for the Christmas spirit and the story to tell :)
