I was asked to be in a social media group at work and we had our first meeting yesterday.

I have a total addiction to all forms of social media ; blogging, LINKEDIN, facebook, twitter...you name it. For a girl who was obsessed with the 19th century at one point in her life, I have pulled a complete 180. 

We talked about how social media integrates into our work place and we can all do in our prospective departments to individualize our approaches.

Then the talk turned to blogging, of which I am a fanatic/nerd. I was so excited to find out that many people I work with have blogs. Even more had never tried blogging and that was something I could talk about! 
We've all been in those work situations where we were afraid to open our mouth in a meeting, fearing that our contribution wasn't good enough. 

I talked for a full 5 minutes on blogger, wordpress, mobile blogging and posterous. I was elated ;)
