April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

High Noon
I broke my cardinal rule of running in the summer.
I ran mid morning.
To me, that is THE HOTTEST time of the day. Sure, the sun isn't directly in the middle of the sky yet. But it's still beating down, and there are just wisps of a teasing breeze.
Mid run, I stopped off at home to grab some water and continue.
I finished well, my body is slippery and tingly. But none the less, feeling great.
But to northerners....if you do ever travel to Arkansas...do you're self a favor.
Run EARLY.
