I haven't been to the Farmers Market in awhile. But today I put on the layers and prepared to face the inevitable November wind that has lately begun to fly through Fayetteville.

A few brave souls faced the gales with their veggie, fruit and arts and craft stands set up like always. Hats, mittens and scarves were in full array, and people gripped hot coffees like their lives depended on it.

I was in my element. The crisp, fall air was what I needed. That combined with coffee, knitted hats, pewter animals and fresh organic produce - made up the perfect fall Saturday.
