April 2007 - I found myself in Sag Harbor New York - the land of sea breezes and huge summer homes. In order to stay in touch with friends and family, I started a blog about my adventures there. My fiancee (now husband) and I moved to Arkansas in the fall of 2007. Since then the blog has detailed my life...as a yankee in the south, a runner, an actor, a writer and an administrative assistant. It's been a wild ride and continues to be a grand adventure...:)

Today was a good day.
The results of the election restore my faith in people.
There are two subjects that I really try to avoid discussing on this blog - religion and politics. Primarily because I'm not well versed on either and also because discussion of these topics tends to lead to controversy, something I try to avoid.
But I will get on my political soap box for a second. I glad about what happened and who will be our next president. I think that progress will be made and that now there is hope for the future. Working, middle class families are going to have something to strive for. My kids will live in a world, created starting today.
